2020 Hyundai Sonata Performance Specs and Features

There are two engines available for the 2020 Hyundai Sonata across the four trim levels. First, we have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine standard for the SE and SEL trims. This engine delivers up to 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. Then, we have a 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that is standard on the SEL Plus and Limited trims. This engine delivers up to 180 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC®. The SHIFTRONIC® system allows you to override the automatic transmission to be able to shift manually.
